After seeing gas prices of this sort in California...
I wasn't quite so sad about spending $3.63 a gallon to fill up our van yesterday...
and I'm trying to forget that in Adam's baby book (5 years ago) I had written down the gas prices as $1.50 a gallon!!!
What are you paying these days?
We are only a few cents less. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI almost had to cry the other day at the pump. What used to cost me $40 (in the not so distant past) now costs me $70. How wrong is that?
love the cartoon! Gas is the same here as you guys! Roger and I got bikes, and the benefit of living in a small town is that everything is so close we can bike everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, we pay about the amount you show in your picture. HA! The good news is Tom bought a bike and has started biking to work.
ReplyDelete$3.57 a gallon here in Utah, but only $3.49 in Oklahoma City. For a change Utah is not one of the highest in the country.
ReplyDeleteBut, I agree with Denise, as it is almost physically painful to watch the pump keep going and going up past $40, up past $50, all the way up to $65. Up until last year, my entire gas budget was $120 a month, now it is double that, although we are driving less-except for work projects where we are driving more than ever.
