1. Stop at grocery store to buy milk, deodorant, and band-aids
2. Go to gym to burn off all the calories from the desserts I keep making solely for the purpose of taking pictures for the recipe blog.
3. Hide the tutus
4. Buy Ellie a whole new wardrobe in monochromatic shades, so I won't have to be quite so flabbergasted when she takes off her coat while on a field trip downtown:
On the bright side: Ellie was happy as a clam for dressing herself and there were a lot of amused people at the American History Museum on Friday!
oh my goodness! There are not many things that make me laugh uncontrollably, almost to the point of tears, but this is one of them! I love Ellie - fashion statements and all!
ReplyDeleteSeriously. Funny.
ReplyDeleteOh my! That is too funny. I love it! I wonder if Madeline will have such an inate sense of style.
ReplyDeletethat is hilarious! i love it!
ReplyDeleteThat brought on a belly laughter!! I am just glad my daughter is not the only one dressing herself!!
ReplyDeleteLol! I love it!

ReplyDeleteRemember that party that you wore a tutu to?
ReplyDeleteToo cute! She definitely has her own fashion sense!
ReplyDeleteThe great part is that all who saw her had no doubt that you left the clothing choices entirely up to her. So you come out looking like an extremely confidant mom who is raising an independent daughter, and everyone secretly wishes that they could be as relaxed and accepting as you. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThat outfit it the bomb! Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy friend got a roll of stickers that say "I dressed myself today!", not that you would have needed it.
