Creative Cropping

The best part of participating in I ♥ Faces each week is the ideas and inspiration I get from all the amazing photographers out there. I feel like it's given my picture taking a little more purpose, instead of randomly shooting like I have in the past.

The other day when the lighting seemed just perfect, I snagged my kids away from the trampoline and started an impromptu photo shoot.
Here's my straight out of the camera shot. I stood on the deck pointing my camera downward to capture her beautiful smile.

Cropping it in closer to add a new angle and dimension was a challenge for me, but here's my favorite try.
