Day 173--Washington DC with Aunt AnnaLisa (by Emma)


Today I went to Washington DC with Annalisa . First we went to the American History Museum. After that,we went to the World War Two Memorial. Then we went to the Vietnam war Memorial(not the real one). At the end we went to the World War one Memorial. We had a fun time. And the best part about it was...
we walked a couple of miles in the hot sun.(we got our exercise for the day)!

    Well next time I come up to visit, I am definitely going on a museum trek with Emma...but I will wear sunscreen.

    I can't believe you spent all day in Washington DC and you didn't come to see me!

    I'm glad you had such a fun day - I wish I could have joined you. Memorial/museum hopping is much more fun than being behind a desk!

    I'm curious to know what the fake Vietnam War Memorial looked like. That sounds interesting. I'm glad you got to spend a fun afternoon with Aunt AnnaLisa!

    the fake vietnam war has pictures on the walls getting taller and the real one has lots of names on the wall and the walls getting taller.

    For the record, anyone still reading comments on this, through further discussion and deduction, we have identified the "fake Vietnam Memorial" as the Korean Memorial. It led to a good discussion of the difference between the two!
