Unbalanced

I'm unbalanced.

There's just no other way to put it. My whole equilibrium is so off-kilter right now, I'm not even sure I have an equilibrium.

It may have something to do with the fact that school has begun again (and way too much homework for it being the first week of school)...

or the fact that I have yet another sick child....

or the fact that I've hardly seen the sun last few days (and that I have a beautiful middle school daughter who comes home and talks about cute guys that look like Zac Efron)...

or that I've spent night and day the past couple of weeks trying to get our ward preschool groups (for 35 kids) up and running...

or that my house is still under construction (no pictures until it's all done!)....

or that out-of-town visitors have come to stay with us for the week....

or that I have three kids participating in Fall sports....

or that I have three places to be at once on Thursday nights....

NOPE!! It's not those.

It's the commencement of early morning seminary.

Suddenly Glen, Spencer, and I are awakening a good hour and a half earlier than we have in a LONG time and I'm lucky if I can keep my eyes open past 10:00, let alone stay up to blog (or comment on anyone else's).

So how tired am I?

I'm so dog tired, I actually told Cami that sheeeeeeee coulllld azhljkalhizzzzzzzzzzzle//jzhoiujzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz andnd seheeh didd itttttttttnnzzzzzkj

  1. So sorry I called you all so late last night (about 11h00 pm) as we are so accustomed to having you up every night way past midnight...

I should have read your blog much earlier.

    Won't happen again!

    Love, Dad-Mom

  2. Ahh early morning seminary-that magical combination of otherwise innocuous words.

Just think-only 15 more years of it. So good for the youth, but so demanding for dad and mom-at least until the oldest gets his license and starts ferrying his younger siblings with him.

Trust me-you will both dread and welcome the day Spence gets his license.

  4. I feel your pain. This year is an improvement to last. I've been waking up at 6:30am to get ready and make sure Sophie is up and ready for the bus. That is sleeping in for me compared to last year with EMS.

But it sure looks like you have a lot more on your plate than I ever had! You are a busy (and impressive) woman.

  6. Oh no! I can relate to everything...but I still have one more year before seminary starts. Granted, my husband was the EMS teacher for 3 years...

I have been SOOOO tired lately as well. I can't keep my eyes open past 10:30 (which is early for me!)

  7. Didn't Glen teach EMS for a year or two? But it must be different when your child is in seminary.
