Then it was homemade Valentine's cupcakes for her entire science class....
Last week she made 80+ homemade cinnamon rolls to share with her field trip bus....
Two days ago it was 3 dozen cookies for a YW/RS activity....
Tonight she's making 30+ homemade eclairs for French class....
So, now I have a couple of important questions:
#1 How does she stay so skinny?
#2 Is it any wonder she's so sweet with all that sugar flowing around her?
#3 Anyone know of a good hiding place for the eclair I swiped to save for Sunday? A couple of kids are getting adept at finding my hiding places...

Hahaha! I have a question. How do you resist the temptation to eat all of the sweets she makes?!
ReplyDeleteAs for hiding places, I might say some, but I don't want to give the kids any ideas ;)
You're funny Lara!
Now you have me drooling...mmmm.
ReplyDeleteSo are all these recipes on your recipe blog? The homemade eclairs and cinnamon rolls look especially yummy! And I already know those gingersnaps are wonderful - I've used that recipe of yours several times.
Hmmm...I wonder where she gets the baking gene, along with the stay up late and make huge quantities of something for some holiday or event! Surely not from her mother, queen of the groundhog day cupcake factory.
ReplyDeleteShe must take after her mommy. Not fair though!
ReplyDeletewow! she is very kind to bake so much for others!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED to bake when I was her age too!!!! This post brought back so many fun memories of my moms big old red Betty Crocker cook book :)
