MISSING: Lara's Mojo
Last seen: May 10, 2010, ~11:39am.
Possible Sightings:
In the carload of junk we donated to Goodwill?
Accidentally discarded in the 7 garbage bags of crap we pulled from underneath the girls' bed?
Wrapped in the old red carpet in the basement?
Lost in the phone lines during several long irate calls to Verizon about our lack of internet?
Burned up in the string of bad recipes I keep trying?
Mixed up in the vomit spewed all over Adam by a total stranger at the park?
Maybe lodged permanently in my throat after a random guy jumped out of the woods and yelled, "Boo!" and started laughing hysterically while on my morning run on Monday?
If you find it, please call me ASAP. I miss it.
yuck, vomit at the park. Hang on the week is almost over!
ReplyDeleteAnd you still managed to bring Cami over today? AND went to the dentist? You must still have some of that mojo wonderwoman.
ReplyDeleteI found it. It went out with the weeds Emma pulled today. You can still get it back, if you look.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how disgusting it would be to clean up a child of someone else's vomit. Yuck, yuck, yuck and double yuck! BLAH!
Poor Lara! I hope you got things figured out with Verizon. And that the cleanup of Adam wasn't too horrible.
ReplyDeleteGood job of cleaning out the house! :)
I hope things get better, my friend!
Actually, we are fairly confident that you have not LOST your mojo, but only lost sight of it somehow.
ReplyDeleteOr it may be purposely hiding in plain sight from you to avoid anymore of those "park" issues encountered by Adam.
The anecdote about Adam has only one solution (perhaps two): either a firehose (on low) at a distance or a hand held car wash (on gentle rinse cycle). Poor kid-almost as bad as being skunked.
Don't have it. Sorry. But I hope you smacked that guy who jumped out at you.
ReplyDeleteBarfed on by a stranger? That gets top billing on my list of "Ewwwww, Gross!".
ReplyDeleteDid you go all ninja on the guy who jumped out at you? Did all your personal defense training automatically come into play and now he is hurting?
Yikes, I would avoid that park in the future. You live such an exciting life!!
