On Thursday the kindergarten classes at our elementary school performed a musical rendition of the “Little Red Hen”.Even the pianist and narrator were fellow kindergarteners.
Emma had decided that the part of the little red hen belonged to her…you know since her hair is red.As cute and naïve as we thought Emma’s criteria were apparently there was something to it as the little girl who did get the part has bright red curly hair. So Emma became one of the hen’s ten little chickies…and a very cute one at that!
Welcome to our family blog where you can find the latest on our family and read all about Spencer's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (subtype M5). He was diagnosed in January 2012 and has been in remission about 10 years now. Every day he is in remission is a gift to us.
In amongst the leukemia updates you'll find a random conglomeration of humorous, boring, goofy, and inspiring tales (with photos of course) from the adventure of our life with five kids. An adventure that we're taking ...a day at a time.

Very, very cute! I was jealous that Mika and the girls got to see the play without me. Maybe next time.
Emma is one cute little chickie indeed!
Wish we could've been there.
