Spring Break

The week of Spring Break started off with very nice weather in the 70°s and 80°s, so we spent lots of time outdoors. We saw the cherry blossoms, National Zoo, mini-golfing, letterboxing, etc. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the time out of school and being outdoors. Each day it got colder and colder and by Saturday it had snowed an inch! We spent the last part of Spring Break on more indoor pursuits such as movies and games with a final hurrah taking Daddy to Adventureland playground in Maryland. We froze, but it was okay because we had the whole playground to ourselves.

Easter Best

Easter is an exciting day at our house. The whole week before we talked about the real reason why we celebrate Easter, but when it comes down to it the Easter Bunny is what they get excited about! This year the Easter bunny brought each of them a new Sunday outfit. Spencer turns 12 in a couple of weeks, so he needed a suit so he can start passing the sacrament in style. The girls just had to have their matching dresses...and the bunny certainly couldn't leave Adam out of the fun of new Sunday clothes.
We all ate too much chocolate and the kids were a little wired from the sugar for a couple of days, but they're about back down to earth now that the candy's mostly gone.
