It's even worse when you live alone and you have no one to blame when the TP runs out on you . . . and no one to bring a new role to you! On the other hand, at least the TP roll always ends up oriented in the correct direction when you live alone :o)
What a cute post. I agree, over is the way to go. Unfortunately our toilet paper holder broke months ago, so our roll of paper just sits on the back of the toilet!
Just for the record, if any member of my family were to actually change a TP roll themselves OVER or UNDER, it would be cause enough for major celebration in my book.
Yeah, over is the way to go! What I love is when the kids holler about there being no TP and there's a roll (or two) sitting on the back of the toilet, plus a couple of spares under the sink.
Although I have to disagree a little. The TP should come off the bottom and be allowed to hang. I hate spinning and spinning and spinning the roll around while the loose end sticks to the paper making it IMPOSSIBLE to find!
This should be mandatory viewing in my house. I think 1/2 the bathrooms no longer even have the roll holder, as it seems to be obsolete in the kids' bathroom.
I was at a friend's house one day when I did a naughty thing...I put the loose toilet paper on the holder! She said her little sisters will never be able to find it now!
Welcome to our family blog where you can find the latest on our family and read all about Spencer's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (subtype M5). He was diagnosed in January 2012 and has been in remission about 10 years now. Every day he is in remission is a gift to us.
In amongst the leukemia updates you'll find a random conglomeration of humorous, boring, goofy, and inspiring tales (with photos of course) from the adventure of our life with five kids. An adventure that we're taking ...a day at a time.

Cute post. I'm an under instead of an over!
Nice post Lara. I personally don't care which way the TP goes as long as it is actually on the holder.

Good times, good times!
Cuz that's how Lara rolls. ;)
Yup, TP must roll out from the top!
Love it! I'm with you--over the top. I must show this tutorial to my kids!
How funny are you! This cracked me up because it is so true... although at my house the only one who changes the roll is ME!
I may just have to show this to my family! :)
Funny post...well "said".

That is hilarious. I love it. As 2 rolls sit out in my house right now :) so great.
