Day 7--Sleeping in Style!

After 15 years with an old, holey mattress we finally took the plunge and got a new sleep number bed (and a pretty new quilt)! We love it!!!!!

Day 6--Ballerina Ellie!

Ellie has been talking for weeks about dance class and today it finally began!

She was an adorable, enthusiastic ballerina who seemed to enjoy every minute of it...although by the end of it she was ready to collapse in exhaustion!

Day 5--Death by Chocolate!

After ending a year long chocolate fast, my kids were so excited to OD Uncle Matt on chocolate all in one sitting!

Emma made this hot chocolate concoction that contained cocoa, chocolate chips, and melted Heath Bars. Uncle Matt was a good sport and seemed to "enjoy" the shocking end of his chocolate fast.

Day 4--Party Time!

So these pictures will seem pretty lame compared to what an exciting day it actually was, but it's all I've got...


We had Matt & Karey visiting from Oklahoma and Aaron & Trish from Round Hill over for dinner and hanging out. Aaron introduced to Bronco Bob's raspberry chipotle sauce and has hooked us so much that we actually drove ourselves to the closest SuperTarget (only 30 miles away in Leesburg) to get us some! Poured over a brick of cream cheese it's the best dip money can buy!


I totally forgot to take my camera out while everyone was over, but did manage to get this cute one of my adorable nephew Lincoln!

Day 3--Three-Year-Old Fashionista!

Here is one of Ellie's stereotypical outfits. Not only does she have very strong opinions for what she wears each day, but she also seems to have a knack for finding the most clashing prints and colors possible! The dirty "corner blanket" is merely a fashion accessory.

Day 2--Tooth and Claw!

In an effort to do a major purging in our house, we found many toys that were either outgrown or broken...

This ATM machine was broken AND still had money in it, so Cami smashed her way in with a hammer to save the $2.35.

Day 1--A New Year!

Okay this picture is actually from December 31, 2008, but here's our New Year's celebration with the younger kids before they ASKED to be put to bed at 9:00.

Drinking our Martinelli's in our ripped up bedroom at the stroke of midnight. Spence and Cam were sent to bed shortly thereafter this picture was taken.
