Day 14--PMS is contagious...

Why is it when I'm having a mildly bad day...tired, back-ache, PMS, super busy...the kids feed off of my mood and have REALLY grumpy, needy days? Which of course makes my mildly bad day into a much more exhausting, frustrating day than it ever needed to be.

Don't they know they just need to give me a little space, bring me chocolate, and compliment me profusely? Oh yeah, I guess not. Glen just caught on to that trick last year. : )

Day 13--Trend Setter...

I know I already did a day devoted to Ellie's new "Tiny Tutus" class, but I decided another day was in order for two reasons:

1) I brought my good camera with me today.
2) They're just so darn cute!
3)Last week Ellie was the black sheep of the class (literally) as she was the only little ballerina wearing a black leotard in a sea of pink and white. Apparently she started a trend, because here's a shot of her class (all the same girls) this week.

Day 12--TGFI

No that's not a misprint. That would be, "Thank Goodness For Insurance".

With 5 kids and all their little mishaps I am so glad for good insurance. This afternoon's trip to the dentist was merely for preventative purposes, but even paying for check-ups twice a year for all 5 of them would surely break the bank.

This part is now by Emma:
The picture is me (without my glasses). I was waiting for school to end to go to the dentist.Of course I wasn't waiting for the dentist to start,I wanted it to start so it could end.The toothpaste has a bad taste. They said the flavor was strawberry, but it tasted really weird. Then I had to get fluoride. You can not swallow, it tastes bad, and you can not eat or drink for 20 minutes after you get it on you. And after the dentist appointment is done you get to pick a prize.I got a purple heart ring.I'm glad it's all done until July.

Day 11--Tired Little Sunbeam!

After switching from the 9:00 to the 11:00 church schedule, our sweet little Ellie is about as exhausted and hungry as they come by the time we get home! On the other hand it can't be all that bad, since she told me today that she was really glad that I signed her up for Sunbeams.

Day 10--Daddy's Home!

It's always better when Daddy's home...especially when it comes to music practice. I attempt to help the kids, but since the kids passed up my musical abilities in about the first week of lessons, I'm not very useful. It's always amazing to me how much better they sound after just one good practice session with Dad a week!

Day 9--Silliness Overload!

It was a wild Friday night with lots of princess dress-ups, fake screaming, and loads of silliness!

Not shown: The knight in shining armor, Adam, who kept the girls screaming and running!

Day 8--Sunshine at Last!

After 3 long days of dark and dreary weather and the kids continually choosing every sunshine song they could think of for bedtime, the sun finally came out! Sadly it was just in time to drive Matt, Karey, and baby Lincoln to the airport.

Here's a list of some of ours (some were a stretch):

"There is Sunshine in My Soul"
"You are My Sunshine"
"Once There was a Snowman"
"The Sun Will Come out Tomorrow"
"Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam"
"Today While the Sun Shines"
"I Like to Look for Rainbows"
"Faith"
"Eensy Weensy Spider"

Can you think of anymore?
