Here is the object of my complete distraction of late.
The Book Club discussion of this book is tonight and I've still got 1/3 of the book left to read. My kids, my house, my blog, my exercising, making meals, etc. have all gone down the tubes since I finally picked it up to read on Monday. :)

You are definitely your mother's daughter! She is the same way once she gets into the reading mode. Like last night-when she finally finished up her book du jour and turned out the lights about 12h45 am. Finally allowing me to go to sleep. Thank you dear!
And then when I woke up this morning, I found her already awake reading another book...
She definitely instilled the love of reading in all of her children!
I decided to read all of Jane Austen books, since I have never read any of them. I am in the middle of Pride and Prejudice. Let me know if you liked Mansfield Park;it's next on my list to read. By the way, I do the same thing too!
Welcome to our family blog where you can find the latest on our family and read all about Spencer's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (subtype M5). He was diagnosed in January 2012 and has been in remission about 10 years now. Every day he is in remission is a gift to us.
In amongst the leukemia updates you'll find a random conglomeration of humorous, boring, goofy, and inspiring tales (with photos of course) from the adventure of our life with five kids. An adventure that we're taking ...a day at a time.
