Thanks for your comment. I hope you enjoy the book. It may be a bit slowish at the start, but it really sets the scene for what life was like back then. I would highly recommend getting your hands on the BBC version of "North & South" after you read the book. I can't wait to watch it again after I finish reading the book!!!
Welcome to our family blog where you can find the latest on our family and read all about Spencer's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (subtype M5). He was diagnosed in January 2012 and has been in remission about 10 years now. Every day he is in remission is a gift to us.
In amongst the leukemia updates you'll find a random conglomeration of humorous, boring, goofy, and inspiring tales (with photos of course) from the adventure of our life with five kids. An adventure that we're taking ...a day at a time.

Hahaha! And you even put the sign in a page protector.
Please tell me you used a black sharpie to make the face on the ball!
I still like my stake in the front yard idea. It would have worked. Seriously. Though you might not have gotten any chocolate as a reward.
Oh my goodness! I am totally impressed! This. is. awesome.
Love it! Keep us posted if Bob's owner shows up.
Hilarious Lara!
You make me laugh. A page protector only seems appropriate when an entire blog is dedicated to Bob the Baller. Good luck finding him a home.
