I'm totally done with spending half a day scraping off our car!
I never want to ice skate down our front steps ever again.
I've discovered that having the kids out of school 9 out of the past 12 days is officially over my limit.
And I'm so done with driving on slippery, untreated roads with a whole bunch of idiots who have no idea how to drive in the snow.
Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow! Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow! Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow! Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow! Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow! Please don't let school be canceled tomorrow!...
I feel your pain and I'm crossin' my fingers for school to be in session for ya! Our school district scheduled spring break for the first week of March this year. What the heck am I supposed to do with all the kids home and stuck in the house? Probably be a blizzard...
Move to AZ!! The weather is awesome this time of year! (You notice I won't mention any other time of the year!) We are enjoying high 60's even 70's!! There is plenty of room for you and your little family!! We'd love to have you!! And, there's no such thing as a snow day here!!
Did it get cancelled? Do those days get made up during the rest of the school year. My kids have missed three days and they are talking already about when to make them up???
Welcome to our family blog where you can find the latest on our family and read all about Spencer's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (subtype M5). He was diagnosed in January 2012 and has been in remission about 10 years now. Every day he is in remission is a gift to us.
In amongst the leukemia updates you'll find a random conglomeration of humorous, boring, goofy, and inspiring tales (with photos of course) from the adventure of our life with five kids. An adventure that we're taking ...a day at a time.

I've been saying the same thing about needing a day off, but for different reasons. I sure hope your kids go to school tomorrow.
News Flash: Fairfax County Schools open two hours late on Thursday January 29th.
Emergency Announcement for Fairfax County Public Schools
All Fairfax County public schools will open two hours late on Thursday, January 29.
Do you remember all those hundreds of times we used to get up early and listen to WCCO to see if school was cancelled that morning.
Almost never was until you guys had all graduated.
At least you can sleep in a couple of extra hours!
I'm totally with you on that one.
On the other hand, I wonder how many of those "idiots" were taking pictures while they drove? hehe
Oh, man. Look at your car. Which in PRECISELY the reason I shovled the drive...so I didn't have to scrap my car!!!
Yay for school!

By the way, I haven't seen snow in a long time. I don't think school will ever be cancelled here for weather reasons!
