When Bradford (a little boy I was watching) pulled his pants down to his ankles and started peeing smack dab in the middle of the park, I wasn't even the slightest bit tempted to take a picture of his indiscretion. No, that would have been most cruel of me.
"Thank you Miss Lara, for not giving my Mom something to blackmail me with when I'm 16."
And there's no way that I started bragging and dancing to the music when I actually got a score of 151 and beat EVERYONE...including Ellie! And then when Valentine's rolled around and we spent six hours (yes you read that right) cleaning out the girls' closet, I didn't have the gall to suggest that we take all the kids with us on our Valentine's date and go bowling. No, that would have been completely unromantic of me.
Then when Glen accused me of cheating for bouncing all my shots off the bumper guards, I never even thought of giving him a dirty look and bragging even more. No. I would never rub my victory in his face. I'm much more sophisticated than that.

I love how fashionable you are Lara. Seeing the photo made me want to pull out my own overalls.
Lara, you have always been a fashionplate-ever since you were a kid. You could do more with K-Mart and Sears clothing than anyone we know. The happiest day of your young life was when you got your first job (Taco Johns/Festival Foods) and began to buy your own clothes and accessories.
And thanks to you and your wardrobe, your sisters developed your same tastes-mainly because they begged and borrowed so much out of your closet. Fortunately for K, she was close to your size in junior high and high school.
Now Ellie Belly is a whole different story. A totally cute story.
By the way, these "Not Me Monday" posts are becoming something to look forward to at the beginning of the week. Thanks for sharing.
Love, Grandpa-Grandma
151 is a great score even with bumpers!
