How Bad is the Economy?

It's so bad that even the rent for tree branches has grown too high for the average bird's salary...

thus forcing this poor dove to take up residence in Spencer's windowsill where the rent is cheaper and the landlord is much nicer.
I'll have to remind the dove to send a thank you note to the squirrels who so kindly ripped off the screen that had once made this windowsill a more exclusive property--reserved only for dead flies and the occasional box elder bug.

Oh wait--how could I forget? All the squirrels have been banished from the east coast after President Obama started taxing their acorn bonuses to 90% forcing them all to take jobs at various government agencies' help desks.

An apt analogy of our life and times.

Thanks for making it so easy to understand.

Take good care of mama dove Spence.
