Just wondering...

why it is that this is what my shoes look like this after running, walking, hiking, and occasionally wading in them almost every day for six whole years?

(a little gray and worn, but otherwise perfectly intact)

And my kids' shoes look like this in less than six months?

Seriously, I'd like an excuse to buy new shoes every six months. What's the deal?

Are those Cami's? That is an amazing amount of wear for 6 months! Maybe they make adult shoes better OR maybe you have a lot more pairs of shoes?

I think there's just something about the combination of our genes that makes for especially toxic feet. My shoes last a long time, your shoes last a long time, but our feet together and kaboom!!!

I have always wondered the same thing! It sure would be nice to have to get new shoes every 6 months or so.

It must be in the genes-as I wear shoes for years and years until they literally fall apart. The pair I wear now must be 6-7 years old and long overdue for the garbage can.

It isn't hard to believe that these are Cami's shoes-since she is so amazingly busy! Like her mom, she is a non-stop Energizer Bunny.
