Old dog...new tricks.

I have a newfound empathy for children trying to sit still through church!

After basically 13 years of roaming through the halls of church taking care of small children and then the last 3 as primary secretary, today I got to go to Sunday School and Relief Society empty handed (no kids, no diapers, not even a bag)...

I'm sure that eventually I'll enjoy the quiet time for spiritual renewal, but in the meantime I'm having an awfully hard time learning how to sit still for three hours! After all, I'm to the point in life that sitting still=falling asleep... :)

Too funny! I can relate. If on the off chance the kids are sick and I go to church by myself I feel the same way during sacrament. Enjoy it while you can. Who knows where you'll be put to work next!

Lucky. I know you CAN learn!

Oh my goodness!! Connor started nursery a few weeks ago and I thought the same thing. It takes some getting use to!

Out of curiousity do you sometimes snore at Church like someone I know that may or may not be one of our parents.

Hey Matt, I resemble that remark!!

So rude. For the record, I do not snore in church-only an occasional snort and/or drool.

Hey Wawa, don't blink-life comes at you very fast.

You definitely sound like your mother-who gets in the car-and only literal seconds after I drive out of the driveway-her chin is on her chest-sound asleep.

Love, Dad-Mom
