May 24: Today we head home. Like yesterday, we completely overestimated the time it would take to check in and make it through security, so we were very early again. So early, in fact, that the kids decided they were going to be the first ones on the plane.
And it worked. There we are, on an empty plane. So exciting.
It didn't stay empty for long though, and it wasn't long before we were on our way homeward bound.
We enjoyed this last view of Iceland....

Ah, but what a trip of a lifetime!! It's always good to be home, but wow! the memories your family will have of this trip will be with them forever!!
