Holy Hanna!

With the remnants of Hurricane Hanna making our Saturday VERY soggy, the kids decided to make the best of it by...

running, jumping...

splashing, wrestling...
boat racing, rolling, giggling...

and even swimming!

Of course Glen wasn't having quite so much fun as he spent 3-1/2 hours outside trying to rig up our broken downspout to get the water away from the house.

We're happy to be safe and dry and very glad it hasn't turned out like Isabel when we were without power or phone for an entire week!

I miss exciting weather like that!

Looks like the kids had so much fun. I took my kids out afterwards but they were all in rain boots and slickers. A swim would have been nice (and saved us having to give them a bath!).

What great pictures! I especially love the first one of Cami and the one with Adam "swimming" in the puddles. These will make for great scrapbooking pages. =)

Me too K! Really miss weather like that and big thunderboomers.

Poor Glen working on the stupid spout for so long. Hope he got in in time to watch the BYU game!

An amazing game and such a relief to pull it out at the end!

Love, Grandpa-Grandma

How fun to see pictures of your kids out in the rain! I am curious? Was it warm enough to play? We had rain, but none of my children had any desire to play in it, let alone be outside in it!!

You guys were smart not to wear rain gear. We did and we still got drenched all the way down to our knickers.

Wow! I guess I didn't even realize that you were in Hurricane territory! Glad to hear that all is safe and sound. Isn't it funny what kids will enjoy when many others are probably totally freaking out?!
