Real Life

May 25:   We left on our trip 2-1/2 weeks ago with fans blowing all over our flooded basement.

We came home and within 12-hours this happened:

It's totaled.

And it happened right as I was leaving to go the homeschooling conference.

Paying for the  tow truck and impound lot fees was not on our list of expenses we wanted to incur right as we returned from our trip, although a certain kid will be eventually paying those back.

Nor is dealing with a four drivers on two cars ratio any fun.

In fact, I'm not sure about this real life stuff.

Oh, no! That's horrible! I'm assuming no one was hurt (or severely beaten) since this happened a couple weeks ago and from what I've seen your family appears to be blessedly intact. But what a stinker for it to happen right after your trip. Not that the timing on these things is ever very good.

Yikes! Nothing like getting 'hit hard' upon your return. I'm sorry!

RIP my old car.

I am glad that a certain child of yours is okay.

Amen! I'm not so sure about this 'real life' stuff either. I'm relieved no one was seriously hurt.
